With the new school year beginning, lots of other new changes and chances are also afoot. In keeping with this spirit of change and new beginnings, The Family Foundation School is excited to welcome its newest staff member, Glenn Singer! Glenn attended school at Kenyon College in Ohio. He has many years of experience working in education. He has worked in private day schools and other types of boarding schools. He has also worked at other recovery programs, at both inpatient and outpatient programs, but this is his first opportunity to be employed with a therapeutic boarding school.

Glenn says that he enjoys working with teenagers and young adults because he thinks it keeps him in a young frame of mind. At the school, he works in the Admissions department, as well as spending time with the kids in the families, and helping out by sponsoring students. Glenn loves being able to make a difference in the lives of students and being there for guidance and advice. His sense of humor is always able to put a smile on our faces. His favorite thing about working at the Family School is the strong sense of family and community that pervades the atmosphere around here! Glenn and his dogs fit right in here, and we’re all very glad to have him as a new addition to our big, crazy family!
