By Jason Garnar, the Director of College Counseling:
After many months of researching majors and colleges, writing essays, filling out applications, and visiting college campuses, the students in our graduating class of June 2010 have decided where they will be attending college in the fall. This was a lengthy process that started last summer. With graduation just a few weeks away, our graduates are now getting excited and busy with choosing their meal plans, taking their placement tests, scheduling their orientation session, and registering for their fall semester classes.
Our December 2010 graduates are now starting to research schools for the spring 2011 semester, and will begin to start applying to schools starting in July. I will blog from time to time about this process as it unfolds so stay tuned.
I am pleased to report that our graduating class of 2010 will attend the following colleges. I have also included their school ranking by US News and World Report and the Princeton Review, if applicable. As you can see, our June graduates will be attending great schools and they should be commended on their academic success and hard work.
