Twenty students of the Family Foundation School will receive their New York State Regents high school diploma on Saturday December 12th. Each graduate will provide a speech at either the Baccalaureate Ceremony tonight or during the Graduation tomorrow. The speeches, which outline what each student was like, what happened, and what they are like now, provide to graduate’s families, current students and our entire community, a powerful reminder of the transformations that occur in our midst.
“Although my stay here has not been easy, as soon as I decided I wanted what everyone had to offer me here, it began to, without a doubt, absolutely change my life, and most significantly, helped me gain a wonderful new relationship with my family. A verse my dad put in one of his letters that really motivated me and helped me realize what I want said: “Stand on the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and you will find rest in your soul.” M.
